Well, we thought we’d give the “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” posts some rest, but misinformation is rocketing in at a mad pace.
1) This was posted to Dark Horizons Tuesday morning:
Buffy (TV): CNN reports that Luke Perry will guest star next season, reprising the role of Pyke from the movie.
I just phoned over to CNN senior entertainment producer Matt Carey (who was even nice enough to check around), and he said he was unaware of any such “Buffy” report running on CNN.
2) There’s a report over at SciFi wire titled “Noxon Confirms Buffy Season 8,” but “Buffy" showrunner Marti Noxon confirms nothing of the kind. She says it’s “very likely there could be a season eight” but she’s not certain lead actress Sarah Michelle Gellar would come back for it. Of course, Noxon's comments do contradict rather soundly that early-May Courier-Mail story we relayed here. Read the SciFi report here.
