Holy Alfie, Batman... Harry Palmer & Peachy Carnahan are up to play Alfred Pennyworth in Nolan's BATMAN!

Hey folks, Harry here... Looks like discussions regarding Anthony Hopkins have fallen through in regards to the part of Alfred Pennyworth in Christopher Nolan's BATMAN: INTIMIDATION GAME... Now it seems talks are centering on Michael Caine, who while he isn't signed, he is in deal negotiations to play ALFRED. Personally, I'm happier with Caine than Hopkins, as in my head... the baggage that Caine brings is much more fitting to the complicated history of Mr Pennyworth. I mean... Looking at Alfred and having Harry Palmer as a reference... or Peachy Carnahan... well, they're adventurers and spies... right proper heroes and scoundrels to bring up Master Wayne with tales of. Amazing what a little casting here and there does for one's confidence in a dead series of films, eh? The story was broke by HollywoodReporter and Variety!
