Hey folks, Harry here... personally I hope this is just NOT TRUE. You see, I like the Broken Lizard guys... but the word on the script for DUKES OF HAZZARD is ass... same with what Warner's plans for it. They're stripping the "Stars & Bars" from the General Lee for one... Two - Do we need to see a single new TV show given the wink and smile treatment? Especially if they're going the POLITICALLY CORRECT treatment? The main thing is... if you're going to make a moonshine film remake, you don't do this shit, you do THUNDERROAD... and you do it BADASS! You hope up 40's road monsters and the make them move like a bat out of hell! You give it a driving vintage pulse pounding score and you do a stellar remix of Robert Mitchum's Ballad of Thunderroad! DUKES OF HAZZARD was always bullshit... other than a hotass in hotpants from Daisy Duke... and that cool ass GENERAL LEE - there's not much there for the film. Personally - I want to just keep seeing Jay and crew working on original comedy material, not do weak shit like this!
