An Update On AICN & Alamo South's AMITYVILLE HORROR w/ Ryan Reynolds!
Hey folks, Harry here! Well, I didn't do any panels this year at SXSW, which felt wrong and left an empty feeling inside... But when the University Filmmakers Alliance, a group at the University of Texas asked me this week if I'd be willing to host a panel with Kurt (director of EQUILIBRIUM) Wimmer, Bud (editor of THE EXORCIST) Smith, Ron (producer of SILENCE OF THE LAMBS) Bozman and Ti (director/writer of THE ROOST) West... I thought, "Shit, Yeah!" and accepted. Now if you think you have to be a student to attend this hour long panel, you'd be wrong. That's right - anybody has the ability to come listen to me ask about Bruce Wayne's gunkata skills, Captain Howdy's Happy Moments, the scent of chianti & liver and well.. you get the idea. Here's the info on the event tomorrow (Saturday), my panel specifically starts at 4:30pm, but there's tons of stuff happening all day:

Hey there... Ok - so now for the update on AMITYVILLE HORROR screening. Ryan Reynolds and the producers are still coming, and it's looking like we may have a special guest ta boot! The fly chamber has been built - and it looks like everyone that gets through that fly chamber with the flesh eating flies is not only getting in to see the movie, BUT - it means you'll be getting a free T-shirt specially created just for this event - as well as the photo op as you're eaten alive by flies in the replica of the Amityville House!!!! Muahahahahahahaha! In addition - I just found a lost short film that's about 25 years old that I was planning on saving for BUTT-NUMB-A-THON -- but it's so fucking good, I may have to show it just on general principle. It's literally the greatest thing ever. Sincerely... Soon I'll be starring and thin in a feature adaptation of SLIDERS! Sorry... heh. Anyway there's an EXTREMELY LIMITED NUMBER OF RSVPS Available by emailing Amityville@OriginalAlamo.Com! For more info on the screening Click Here! Now - this is the exterior of the AMITYVILLE Fly Chamber and the Master Architect Tim League, who even now is breeding 25,000 flies to occupy it with... YOU!
