thanks for the tip on which GL will be storied. It's a good assumption based on the air show lead.
of Let the Right One In. I felt like you did after my first viewing (sweet little love story), but after seeing it again, the film really seems to me to be the story of a seasoned predator grooming her next Renfield. But again, that's why I hold the film in such high regard: it's very open to personal interpretation. I understand that the book may spell out the motivations of Ilse a bit more, but the film didn't play as innocent to me as it obviously does to many others.
Made me spit out my coffee.
AICN previously reported (and seemed pretty certain) that because Prince Caspian didn't do as well that Dawn Treader wasn't going to happen.
Shall we rack this up with Arnie & Mickey?
Also, I still haven't seen There Will Be Blood but No Country For Old Men was very, very good. Not unassailably great. I just remember the eventual deaths of the leads being somewhat anticlimactic. Sure bad things happen, even randomly, but after the gripping first three quarters of the movie it just didn't end on the same level of story-telling IMHO. So there, it's assailable.
And finally, possibly more relevant here in an Australian column, someone please remove the video ads from this site. Usage is expensive in Australia and I'd rather use it for news and (if I must) banner ads.
Has it ever been released? I have it on a crusty old VHS.
Ah your 'NEXT WEEK' section never fails to disappoint.
the award goes to this page
Fuzzyjefe: I really like that reading of it. Something similar occurred to me during the film (I really wanted to know what her actual relationship to that older guy was). It's a film that's grown better the more I think about it.
Thank you, jrummel and coup.
Max: only ever seen it on a VHS taped off the TV. If it was an extra on Eye of the Beholder, it would make Eye a must-purchase.
Melvin: what's a blockquote tag? Something I use a lot, I'm guessing? (Seriously, I've never heard the term before.)
Latauro actually managed to make his crap even more unreadable than usual. Kudos!
Maybe if you're illiterate.

So another words you think she's pretty and can competently deliver a line. Well sorry but that does not amazing make. We are so hard on actors around here and actresses get off far too easy. Every time Lindsey Lohan has a film coming out they make a note to say that despite her lunacy she had so much promise. Really? in fucking what exactly? She's always been middling, and so has Biel. There HAS to be real actresses out there just waiting for a break in something Jessica Biel gets for no good reason whatsoever.
That film was freaking magnificent.
Sorry, but it was.
...is Ryan Gosling still attached to star in this? Who's directing? As for the Oscars, pffft. Just like a Detroit Lions game during football season----Whoooo cares.
And it kills me a little inside everytime they play. I need help.
"If you're attending, please remember to NOT wear yellow. Safety first, people."
Love it.
Damned by Dawn looks fuckin' awesome...
Keep us up to date with release news, yeah?
I think this article must look different depending on what computer/browser/brain you're looking at it through. It all looks absolutely fine to me. What are the problems exactly (for those who have noticed problems)?
holden_oz: will do. This is one I'm hoping to keep my eye on.
Hellz yeah. I have to laugh when all the Americans piss and moan about limitless usage like it's happening all over the planet and we all live in the land of high-speed internet... Arse!
And this thread has probably died already, but stop it with fucking M-O-O-N. It is NOT the next "bomb in ribcage" or Balerant. "Tom Cullen" eh? Arse.
