Ahoy, squirts! Quint here with the news of the day! You guys can all let out that breath held in anticipation of the announcement of Kevin Dunn and Julie White re-upping their contract to return to the TRANSFORMERS franchise. Shia's parents will return in TRANNY 3, having just locked in their contracts according to Variety. Are they ridiculous? Yeah, way over the top... but sue me, the insanely high mom wandering around the college campus in Transformers 2 was one of the only moments I actually liked in that movie. It was stupid, but at least it was so tongue-in-cheek silly that it entertained me for a moment, which is more than I can say about the rest of the movie. I'd love it if Bay and company could really pull the rug out from under us and make an involving, emotional spectacle out of Transformers 3, but with a script from Ehren Kruger I kinda doubt it.
