FirstShowing has the teaser poster debut for BURIED, from director Rodrigo Cortés and writer Chris Sparling.
In the film, Ryan Reynolds plays a guy who finds himself trapped in a coffin...in the ground...his only communication being a cell phone with a dwindling battery. A scary-ass notion to be sure, although this same conceit was deployed on the under-appreciated television series G-VS-E back in 1999 - in an episode also called "Buried."
Later, "Grave Danger" - a similarly themed, Quentin Tarantino directed episode of CSI - aired in 2005. So, I'm not sure what to say about this film in terms of idea, although I do think it's a pretty cool poster and imagine there could (theoretically) still be a good story to weave around this concept.
