Is Tarantino Directing Now?? THE SHADOW Knows...

Merrick here...
The Hollywood Cog, a seemingly trustworthy source for the usually reliable Pajiba, says that matters on a proposed re-adaptation of THE SHADOW have changed since David Slade's supposed involvement (details HERE). Not too long ago, Slade was said to be the helmer of the project - taking over from Sam Raimi after the picture changed studios (it went from Sony to Universal). When that happened, Raimi planned to remain on-board as a producer. Now, it seems, Slade may not be directing the film after all (if he ever was to begin with). Who's stepping in to fill his shoes?
The person that is now attached to the project is none other than Quentin Tarantino, who is also attached as co-writer.
...The Hollywood Cog tells Pajiba HERE. Fascinating if true. The project would be hard edged and...unique...to say the least. THE SHADOW has enjoyed a long and healthy life (approximately 8 decades old) across various media platforms. It was last adapted for the big screen in 1994 by HIGHLANDER's Russell Mulcahy. Said film starred Alec Baldwin...
Pajiba implores readers to consume this infobit with a grain of salt. It would probably be wise to do so until we know more...
