Hey folks, Precious Roy here with a spankin’ new trailer for BEAST OF BURDEN. The title references mules, specifically drug mules; it’s a film about a pilot caught between a drug cartel and the DEA, with his wife’s life in the balance. It stars Daniel Radcliffe, Pablo Schreiber (Pornstache in "Orange is the New Black"), and Grace Gummer (FRANCES HA, MR. ROBOT), and is directed by Jesper Ganslandt (FALKENBURG FAREWELL, THE APE) with the script by newcomer Adam Hoelzel.
From the promo materials:
Pilot Sean Haggerty (Radcliffe) must deliver cocaine across the US-Mexico border for his final run as a drug smuggler. Alone in a small plane, he is faced with the burden of choosing between his allegiance to the Cartel, his deal with the Drug Enforcement Administration and saving his increasingly tense relationship with his wife, eagerly awaiting his return.
I don’t know if it counts as overkill or not, but I’d say finding out your sick wife has been kidnapped while your single-engine plane is being shadowed by a drone and running out of fuel amps the stakes up to a pretty high degree, indeed! BEAST OF BURDEN opens in select theaters and On Demand February 23, 2018.
This is Precious Roy, inviting you to get off his lawn, SUCKERS!
