Hello all, Mad Dashiell here and thanks for joining me. Colin Trevorrow, the man responsible for rebooting Universal’s dinosaur franchise is back to bring us another installment of dino-carnage.
Steven Spielberg said Trevorrow will be writing and directing the third JURASSIC WORLD film. Spielberg will return executive producer to helm the project. Trevorrow, responsible for co-writing and directing 2015’s JURASSIC WORLD, grossed $1.67 billion worldwide. He also was the writer-director who wrote the script for the soon to be released JURASSIC WORLD: FALLEN KINGDOM, with co-writer Derek Connolly (known for- SAFETY NOT GUARANTEED, JURRASIC WORLD and KONG SKULL ISLAND)
FALLEN KINGDOM will be released in theaters June 22 and directed by J.A. Bayona (A MONSTER CALLS). “It’s important to this franchise that we welcome new creative voices to keep our storytelling fresh and alive,” says Trevorrow. “I’m thrilled with the tension and beauty J.A. has brought to FALLEN KINGDOM, and I know Emily will add another layer of emotion to the concluding chapter of our trilogy.”
Well all that said, It looks like it will be at least as fun a ride as can be expected. If you like monsters running amok then your set and it looks like that are putting the people most known for monster mayhem on the project so let's buy another ticket to visit the Island and see what happens. Thanks for joining me, until next time,
Mad Dashiell signing off.
