Hey folks… here’s a great new poster for GHOST STORIES, a British horror film! Back in January, I likened the trailer to some classic British horror, like the original THE WOMAN IN BLACK and WHISTLE AND I’ll COME TO YOU. Currently rocking a 95% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, GHOST STORIES might indicate the return to form British horror has been trying for in the last decade. The trailer is everything right about horror, for me.
This poster is deliciously creepy. The ghost figure reminds me of Bob from TWIN PEAKS. And everything I see here, from the creature to the titling to the credits suggests 1970’s horror; even though the typeface is different, I could swear the poster for the 1978 INVASION OF THE BODY SNATCHERS is being referenced in the credits.
GHOST STORIES is in limited release (Los Angeles) this Friday, April 20th.
