Hey folks, here's a great new trailer for THE DARKEST MINDS!
Dannie covered the original trailer back in March... this seems to be preaching to the converted, who already wanted to see a YT mutant tale of runaway love and searching for acceptance.
I really dig this trailer and how it breaks from selling you the plot to just showing you two characters trying to find hope and a moment's peace in their imaginations. It's mostly just a fantasy of two teenagers who look like they've been through hell, imagining if they had met on a summer vacation instead of the cruel dystopia you see them fleeing.
Somehow, it brings to mind WEST SIDE STORY. Here's hoping there's a place for them, somewhere, when THE DARKEST MINDS opens August 3rd.
