Hey folks, The Hollywood Reporter brings word that Sir Patrick Stewart will be playing 'one of multiple Bosleys' in Elizabeth Banks' CHARLIE'S ANGELS reboot, alongside Banks herself as another Bosley.
This is the first bit of news to make me want to watch this, and there have been a number of updates on the project-- as recent as July 29th. I love Elizabeth Banks, but I wasn't really seeing the need for yet another film. But the possibility that this could actually mean that all versions of CHARLIE'S ANGELS, along with their Angels and their Bosleys, in film or television, are in fact canon, tickles me in just the right places.
And of course, Stewart's well-known attitudes regarding feminism and women make him a great choice to play one of the Bosleys, who help facilitate Townsend and Associates and look after the Angels with platonic love. More on this as we get word!
