In a time where there are endless reboots, we are constantly asking ourselves if the movie producers should just because they could? Supposedly a JAY AND SILENT BOB reboot has, as Deadline puts it, been “long awaited”. Sure, those movies were cool when they came out, but I don’t want to see a reboot of ANIMAL HOUSE. Maybe that’s not the best example, but you get what I mean.
Kevin Smith, who helms the project of course tweeted about their first day.
Spent the first day of 2019 having a #JayAndSilentBobReboot pre-pre-production meeting at our holiday-roomy @WeWork office! @JayMewes took this pic of me and @JordanMonsanto to both mark the moment and to document that we were the only dopes in Hollywood working on the holiday. pic.twitter.com/xTNrpN6OF6

It made me very happy looking at Smith’s Twitter, because his cover has a photo of him and George Carlin in it. I sure miss that guy.
As you may have noticed, Smith is looking pretty thin in his new picture. He suffered a heart attack last year that forced him to make a massive life style change.
Do any of you guys want this? Or should they have left well enough alone?
