David Chase is doing something other than a Sopranos movie?

I guess James Gandolfini is showing something that Hollywood is lacking in these days: pride. Way to go Jimmy by refusing to whore yourself out like the four twats from Menopause in the City. Sadly, Chase is going to be revealed for the one trick dog that he is.

...fooling you into thinking this may well be one of the grestest things ever, only to then start sucking like an open chest wound for the last third of the story, as everyone just goes through the motions and acts like they wish it was over already?
All this Sopranos hate is pissing me off.

Poor babies. You feel cheated by that ending? Now the show you once loved is an overrated piece of shit all of a sudden?

Stop acting like infants. Sopranos is one of the greatest shows ever made. We all know this. Don't let your anger cloud your better judgement.

Hey, did the Sopranos finale feature Journey and a cut to black? What if the feature film Chase makes does the same thing? FWIW I heard the original ending featured Tony getting a Mexican Face Hat from a clearly undead Adriana. Then cut to black.

...that the Sopranos was basically a pay-tv version of "Analyze This!"? You remember that excruciatingly annoying and brain-numbingly stupid fucking movie with that most loathsome of unfunny "funny men" Billy Crystal? That bird-faced whiney girl from that mutant-based tv sitcom 'Friends' and DeNiro on the start of the end of his career in worthwhile films (soon to be followed by yet another sequel to Meet the Parents or Gaylord fucker the sequel or fake-boob milker squirtdown 2: electric fuck you). Sopranos had some great moments but I think many idolize it a bit up after the fact. The ending is easy cause it's stupid...hell it's probably a subdued middle finger from Chase anyway....and who can blame the guy...how do you end that show? Anything you do is bound to suck for what it isn't at the very least. Personally, if he had tony just dropping dead on the toilet from a heart attack it would have been much better...instead of cold-turkey...he should have went with pugilistic anti-climax. The revolt would have been much more amusing to watch don't you think?
Here here for a Chase Kolchak.

That would be so awesome--and he could probably get Steve Buscemi to play the lead and maybe even put it on a cable network where they could be violent and freaky. It would be so sweet...

analyze that. And when its' all said and done. Sopranos will go down for the first four seasons of the finest television of all time. Or at least in the conversation of the top dramas.
Something happened to the Sopranos midway through Season 4

I was a huge fan of the show, but I honestly thought Chase ran out of storylines midway through the 4th Season. I believe the show jumped the shark the episode Carmella started falling in love with Furio, and it went from a show that was a drama that dealt with Tony's mob life/family life, to a soap opera about all these boring sub-plots effecting each character. Bobby & Janice for a 3-4 episodes and that damn ziti? Carmela & Furio? Vito and Johnny Cakes? Not knowing what to do with AJ for the last 2 years? The acting was always great, the writing always had that mix of drama & humor, but Chase did not know what to do after 3 seasons, and the show just plodded along for the last few years to the end. Oh, and the ending, I honestly believe Chase didn't know what to do, and he invented the 'screen going black' to make it seem like this artistic idea that would go over everyones head. I was always a fan of the dream sequences and the foreshadowing on the show, as I was not a person who just wanted to see whackings, but the ending will go down as one of the stupidest in TV history.
Chase, when you gonna come back to Kolchak?

You know you want to...You were there back in the day man. If you don't get it nobody does. And Buscemi for Kolchak = stupid.
