...but would a typo on an official press release mean a pop-up ad for a dictionary?

(although it's more likely the copy-paste Herc did dropped the accented e since it's an odd character ... but I couldn't resist)

I hope

...they schedule most of these shows for the summer, seeing as how the networks only put crappy reality shows on their summer schedules.

Gunn from Angel is in the Steven Bochco.

I have to admit TNT and TBS is bringing their A-game! I'm looking forward to their programming!

The two of them have quietly had a run of stellar TV-movies for TNT over the past decade. The John Rogers grifter show also sounds promisin, since Timothy Hutton has shown good taste in TV projects (NERO WOLFE, KIDNAPPED). All the fucking cop shows are a disappointment, though. TNT seems hungry to grab de facto "fifth network" status from USA, and I guess that means familiar fare.

how differently the networks view television then we do. The whole first half of the article sounded like an Alec Baldwin scene on 30 Rock. I half expected MILF Island to be on in the schedule. Some of that stuff sounds kinda interesting. My girlfriend watches a bunch of basic cable dramas like The Closer, so I'm sure I'll check out at least some of them.
Macy gets FINALLY his own TV show!

And "Delta Blues" sounds so fucked up, but I trust Clooney, who is behind the camera even better than in front of it.

get renewed. First season, it looked like a pale copy of It's Always Sunny..but it really came into its own this past year and has been consistently very funny.

That TNT roster sounds like the same producer pitch stuck in a rut: cop, DEA agent, ATF agent, cop, lawyer...blah, blah, blah. Thats why Mad Men and Breaking Bad are so refreshing on AMC. There is more to drama than fucking cops and laywers (and doctors).

And does Romano's Men Of A Certain Age sound exactly like Mike Binder's old HBO Mind Of A Married Man. Do middle aged stand-ups think their middle age crisis is always fodder for a series?

Last...why isn't TNT's planned The Talisman on the schedule? Why???? They've had good luck with King in the past. Didn't Dreamscapes and their version of Salem's Lot do well?

Not just cops.
