Today a trailer was released for director David Dastmalchian's “All Creatures Here Below.” The film, which David wrote and stars in opposite star-on-the-rise Karen Gillan (“Avengers: End Game,” “Jumanji”). The film follows the characters Gensan (Dastmalchian) and Ruby (Gillan) a duo who live on the fringes of society in Los Angeles, struggling to survive in the face of abject poverty. On a fateful night, they strike out to seize something that has always been denied them, which sets in motion a series of events with dire consequences. David Dastmalchian you may know mainly as an actor in “The Dark Knight,” Marvel’s “Ant-Man” franchise, “Bird Box,” "Blade Runner 2049” and “Prisoners,” to name a few. Dastmalchian has also recently been cast in Legendary’s highly anticipated feature film “Dune” – reuniting him with director Denis Villeneuve, whom he worked with on “Prisoners.” He will star opposite Timothée Chalamet, Rebecca Ferguson, Dave Bautista, Stellan Skarsgård, Charlotte Rampling, Javier Bardem, and Josh Brolin.
