Walt Disney Studios has released the full-length trailer for their upcoming direct-to-Disney + remake of the 1940s animated classic PINOCCHIO. Directed by legendary filmmaker Robert Zemeckis this live-action retelling features such talents as Tom Hanks, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Luke Evans, Keegan-Michael Key and Cynthia Erivo. The story also features Lorraine Bracco as the new character “Sofia the Seagull” and is a mixture of CG and live action. PINOCCHIO will hit the streaming service on Thursday, September 8th as part of their Disney + day celebrations which will also see the release of THOR: LOVE AND THUNDER and a documentary about the making of the OBI-WAN KENOBI series amongst other surprises. I’ll be honest this does look kind of creepy but maybe that’s just my fear of puppets... Let us know what you think in the talkbacks people!
