See the Trailer for Emma Tammi's Fantastically Haunting "THE WIND" Film Now!

 Hola Dannie aqui,

I am happy to be sharing with you all a trailer for director Emma Tammi's phenomenal film "THE WIND." I had the pleasure of seeing "THE WIND" at Fantastic Fest in 2018, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. You can read my review here. Emma Tammi is known for her work directing the TV special documentary "Election Day: Lens Across America" and co-directing "Fair Chase." Tammi also has quite a varied past both behind and in front of the camera whether it be as an actress, producer, director, or editor.

IMDB describes "THE WIND" as-

"A supernatural thriller set in the Western frontier of the late 1800s, The Wind stars Caitlin Gerard (INSIDIOUS: THE LAST KEY) as a plains-woman driven mad by the harshness and isolation of the untamed land. The film is directed by Emma Tammi, written by Teresa Sutherland and stars Gerard, Ashley Zukerman, and Julia Goldani Telles. It was produced by Soapbox Films and Divide/Conquer."

Here is the trailer for the beautifully haunting film "THE WIND."

In my previous review of the film I mentioned-

"Actress Caitlin Gerard as the strongwilled Lizzy Macklin is simply unforgettable. She juxtaposes strength and utter vulnerability in a way comparable to few performances, and she (Gerard) channeled Sigourney Weaver's Ripley just set in the old west, the space of the day! Gerard was magnificent and carried the majority of the film squarely on her two shoulders."

I still stand by that comment Caitlin Gerard rocked the hell out of this film.

I also remember praising the cinematography, costumes, sound, and set design of "THE WIND." I seem to remember director Emma Tammi saying that they were able to utilize props and such from the filming of Netflix's amazing film "The Ballad of Buster Scruggs." Cinematographer Lyn Moncrief, set decorator Elsbeth Mumm, the art department and the sound department all came together guided by Emma Tammi to create something I found spectacular.

"THE WIND" is set to blow limited theaters, On Demand, and VOD away on April 5th. If it happens to be showing near you theatrically, I cannot stress hard enough the overpowering experience of seeing this film on the big screen with stellar sound. The film is impressive on multiple levels, in my humble little opinion. Well, what did all of you out there haunting cyberspace think of the trailer? Let us know what you think!
