So what is THE NIGHT CLERK?
It’s a story about Bart Bromley (Tye Sheridan), the local idiot savant, living with his mom Ethal Bromley (Helen Hunt). He works nights as the-you guessed it-night clerk.
Bart comes off pretty suspicious with his habit of watching all the patrons via the security cameras throughout the hotel. Especially when a local beauty dies during her stay. Benny Blanco (John Leuizamo) plays the local law zeroing in on Bart. When Bart starts connecting with Andrea (Ana de Armas) he decides to play detective and try and figure out the real murderer.
I’m hesitantly hopeful. The trailer is cut pretty well. Though the exaggerated stuttering at the end, didn’t fit. I’m assuming those were nerve wracking scenes and Bart’s stutter gets stronger during times of panic. Yep, i'm an optimist.
