See the Terrifying Jangly Man in the newest "SCARY STORIES TO TELL IN THE DARK" Trailer

Hola Dannie aqui,

The guys and gals at CBS Films released a new trailer for "SCARY STORIES TO TELL IN THE DARK" they are calling the Jangly Man Trailer. The glimpses we are getting keep crescendoing in crazy creepiness! Academy Award winner Guillermo del Toro is producing "Scary Stories To Tell In The Dark" with André Øvredal directing. Many of you may know André Øvredal from his work on "The Autopsy of Jane Doe," "Trollhunter," and "Future Murder." The script is penned by del Toro, Daniel Hageman, and Kevin Hageman and of course is based on the best selling series of books by Alvin Schwartz.

CBS Films describes "SCARY STORIES TO TELL IN THE DARK" as-

"From the dark imaginations of Academy Award®-winner Guillermo del Toro and acclaimed director André Øvredal, based on the iconic book series, comes Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark — in theaters August 9th It’s 1968 in America. Change is blowing in the wind...but seemingly far removed from the unrest in the cities is the small town of Mill Valley where for generations, the shadow of the Bellows family has loomed large. It is in their mansion on the edge of town that Sarah, a young girl with horrible secrets, turned her tortured life into a series of scary stories, written in a book that has transcended time—stories that have a way of becoming all too real for a group of teenagers who discover Sarah’s terrifying home."

Brace yourselves for the Jangly Man from "SCARY STORIES TO TELL IN THE DARK!"

"Scary Stories To Tell In The Dark" stars Zoe Colletti ("Annie," "Nerd Herd," and TV's "Rubicon") on director André Øvredal's ("The Autopsy of Jane Doe," "Trollhunters," and "Future Murder") film. Joining Zoe are Michael Garza ("The Hunger Games: Mockingjay," "Wayward Pines," and "Timeless"), Natalie Ganzhorn ("Wet Bum," "Make it Pop," and "The Stanley Dynamic"), Gabriel Rush ( "The Grand Budapest Hotel," "Moonrise Kingdom," and "Little Boxes"), Austin Zajur ("Kidding," "Fist Fight," and "A Haunting") and Austin Abrams ("The Americans," "Brad's Status," and "The Walking Dead").

"Scary Stories To Tell In The Dark" is set to terrify theatergoers in the U.S. of A on August 9th, in Russia on October 31st, and in the Netherlands on November 7th of this year. What do all of you Schwartz fans think of the new trailer? How many of you are eager to see "SCARY STORIES TO TELL IN THE DARK?" I intensely adore that they are embracing going into horror mode. This film looks like it will actually be scary. Thank you, del Toro and André Øvredal looks like you guys are going to do Alvin Schwartz and horror hounds around the globe proud, fingers crossed!
