Hola Dannie aqui,
The good folks at Deadline broke the news that the next Batman movie "THE BATMAN" is set to hit theaters on June 25th of 2021. Matt Reeves ("War for the Planet of the Apes," "Dawn of the Planet of the Apes," "Let Me In," and "Cloverfield") is set to write and direct the new "Batman" film and it has been made clear that Ben Affleck ("Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice," "Suicide Squad" and "Justice League") will not be in the new flick as this one is said to revolve around a younger Bruce Wayne. Could they possibly be working on a continuation of the popular television series "Gotham." I think actor David Mazouz does a great job as Bruce Wayne in "Gotham" and could see him potentially being considered, and I guess it depends on exactly how young Matt Reeves wants the character to be.
Excited for #TheBatman in Summer 2021 and to see @MattReevesLA vision come to life. https://t.co/GNgyJroMIO

The new Batman film according to Deadline will NOT be based on Frank Miller's "Batman: Year One" which is a bummer. What do all of you Batman fans and DC haters think of the news? Who would you all like to see cast and which villains are you praying to see?
