The heroes in a half shell are back, and no, I’m not talking about those god-awful Michael Bay ones, I’m talking about this new iteration of the green-skinned teens from producer and master stoner Seth Rogen! Over the weekend Rogen announced the cast of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem and fans have been eagerly awaiting a taste of what’s to come. As a longtime fan of the turtles myself, I have to say, I'm impressed! The film uses the same style of low frame rate animation that found popularity in the likes of Spider-man: Into the Spider-Verse and Puss in Boots: The Last Wish and I’ve got to say, it really suits the pizza-loving quartet.
Mutant Mayhem is directed by Jeff Rowe and Tyler Spears and has an all-star cast including Maya Rudolph, Paul Rudd, Giancarlo Esposito, Brady Noon, Ice Cube, Post Malone, Jackie Chan, Natasha Demetriou, John Cena, Rose Byrne, Nicolas Cantu, Hannibal Burgess, Shamon Brown, Micah Abbey, Ayo Edebiri and Mr Rogen himself. The film hits cinemas worldwide on August the 4th and I, for one can't wait! Check out the trailer and poster below and let us know what you think in the talkbacks! Cowabunga!
