The rapper known as Machine Gun Kelly aka Colson Baker— has joined Sandra Bullock in the cast of Netflix's new thriller “Bird Box,” Also on the list we have Rosa Salizar fresh off the lead role of ALITA: BATTLE ANGEL, also on board we have- John Malkovich, Trevante Rhodes, Sarah Paulson, Jacki Weaver, Lil Rel Howery, and one of the most unexpected breakouts at this year’s Sundance Film Festival, Danielle Macdonald(PATTI CAKE$).Susanne Bier is in the director's seat for BIRD BOX with a script by Eric Heisserer of ARRIVAL.
The film follows a woman with children, blindfolded, then forced to walk through a post-apocalyptic setting along a river. What could possibly go wrong? The movie was developed by Scott Stuber at Universal before he migrated to Netflix's flock forming their ever growing feature film division. BIRD Box flew the studio coop and adds to the Netflix slate. Follow us as more develops.
