Released today is a trailer for the film "Delirium" directed by Johnny Martin (he directed the films "Hangman" and "Vengeance: A Love Story") who also has over a hundred and sixty-three stunt credits on IMDB so I am hoping the film will be stunt-filled! The film is starring Ian Bamberg (from "Second Time Around" and "The Grounds"), Ryan Pinkston ( the shoplifter from "Bad Santa" and the character Arnold from "Spy Kids 3: Game Over"), Griffin Freeman ("Birth of a Nation" and "The Fat Boy Chronicles"), Mike C. Manning (Televisions "Teen Wolf" and the film "The Brothers Sinclair") August Roads ("Dragula" and "Love Will Tear Us Apart") and Seth Austin who has worked on televisions "The Orville" (He was the psycho-Clown) and Marvel's "Agent's of S.H.I.E.L.D." Ok not sure whether these are supposed to be teenagers or College Frat-Boys, either way, it seems their harmless hazing days might be numbered. The creepy haunted house vibe is definite, also it visually seems reminiscent of the Japanese horror film 1998's "Ringu" as far as their design of the phantom kids and matted hair femme fatales. I feel this one can go either way, could be a ton of fearful fun or just another horrifically bad bomb. Luckily we Horror Geeks and Gore Gal's will not have to wait too long to take this terrifying gamble as it will be theatrically released in January of 2018.
