Heya geeks, Big Eyes here with something science fiction!
“DIVERGE” is a film that has been floating around film festivals for the past couple of years, and is now finally being released on demand! As you’ll see in the trailer, at those film festivals it has taken home a bajillion awards nominations, including: Best Science Fiction Film at Barbados Independent Film Festival, Best Film at Tallgrass International Film Festival, and Best International Film at Lund International Fantastic Film Festival.
The premise of DIVERGE is described on YouTube as “In the wake of a mysterious pandemic, a man searches for a way to cure his ailing wife. When he is captured by a cryptic stranger, he is offered the chance to save not only his wife but the world.”

The trailer greets us with scenery that strongly reminds me of the teasers released for the upcoming game “Death Stranding”. (When the fuck is that coming out?! All we get are more teasers that raise more questions than bring answers and then they expect to wait for not even a ballpark of a release date!) “DIVERGE” looks like one of those somewhat boring but somehow intense kind of movies. With the long list of awards and nominations, we can assume that it’s probably worthwhile, though.
