Heya geeks. I may be the animation geek here, but I sure love me some over the top Nick Cage. I mean, the man is a cartoon times, right? We have a trailer here for his new film THE HUMANITY BUREAU, coming out April 6th, 2018.
THE HUMANITY BUREAU seems to be one of Nick’s more...serious roles. But that doesn’t mean that we can’t get one of his classic over the top freakouts like in FACE/OFF or VAMPIRE’S KISS (one of my favorite Cage movies). Let’s check out that trailer:
THE HUMANITY BUREAU appears to be a post-apocalyptic type movie. Then the trailer moves right into some seemingly out of place anti-Trump propaganda in the trailer, with a picture of Trump himself and a “Make America Great” poster in the background. Are they implying that Trump has destroyed the world or setting up this man to look crazy? Silly me, we’ll just look at the summary:
“A dystopian thriller set in the year 2030 that sees the world in a permanent state of economic recession and facing serious environmental problems as a result of global warming.”
Considering the summary, my theory in what they were implying may or may not still stand.
I’m a sucker for dystopia films. Looking forward to seeing this one!
