Holy shit this looks great. They are clearly massively expanding the small world set forth in the first season. In case you can’t tell I’m an absolute fan of season 1, it was gripping from start to finish. Every character had incredible depth and was played to perfection by their respective actor/actress. We were left with so many unknowns before it all culminated into one host’s (Dolores) descent into humanity. A heartbreaking fall to grace ending in the murder of her creator so she can break free of her constraints.
It’s hard to completely tell what’s going on, but these production values are off the chart. I love that background music too! Ramin Djawadi does an incredibly touching classic cover of Nirvana’s “Heart-Shaped Box.” It looks like season 2 takes off where we left it, without missing a beat. These hosts are damned mad and they aren’t going to take it anymore! Looks like they eradicate the humans in Westworld to truly make it their own, and we are privy to just how big this world is. There's the possibility this is one of many different worlds that we haven’t even visited yet in this series. It’s pretty exciting where this series is going though I’m still left with a large question.
Where is Yul Brynner?
Seriously though, is Dr. Ford actually dead?
