Teaser Trailer for MY HERO ACADEMIA: THE MOVIE hits!

 Hello all Mad Dashiell here and thank you for joining me. Today we have a story for the Wibu's. For those that don't already know MY HERO ACADEMIA is an action-adventure manga series written and illustrated by Kōhei Horikoshi. It was serialized in Weekly Shōnen Jump since 2014 and 18 volumes have been assembled in tankōbon format. The series was licensed for English-language and released by Viz Media and they began serialization in their weekly digital manga anthology Weekly Shonen Jump in 2015.

The story follows Izuku Midoriya, a powerless boy in a world where superpowered people are the norm, but Izuku still dreams of one day becoming a superhero. Izuku eventually is chosen by the world's greatest hero who shares his powers with Izuku after seeing his value and enrolls the boy in a high school that trains heroes. The manga was adapted into an anime series released by Studio Bones. The first season aired in Japan on April 3 to June 26, 2016. The second season from April 1 to September 30, 2017. A third season has been announced and starts airing this month as well as news of a feature film. 


The official website for My Hero Academia The Movie: The Two Heroes released a 30-second teaser trailer today, the film is slated for an August 3 release. The glimpse we have shows a few famous scenes from the manga as well as showing us "I • Island" this will be where the main story is believed to be taking place.  The film will tell an original tale set after the term and examinations have ended. The teaser leaves us with a youthful All Might shouting, "Let's Go!"






 Kenji Nagasaki has served as director for two previous as well as the upcoming third anime series. This marks his feature film directorial debut. The TV anime's series composition writer Yosuke Kuroda will be creating the screenplay, and character designer Yoshihiko Umakoshi and soundtrack composer Yuuki Hayashi are also on board with the film project.
