Starz’ “Vida” evokes Jaime Hernandez’ brilliant “Love & Rockets” comic books because it traffics in beautiful, horny, highly assimilated Latina lesbians having adventures in Southern California. To its discredit “Vida” does not feature any robots or punk rock, but I love anyway its first six episodes. Another thing: “Vida” is not pornography, but can be used as pornography.
Will that Tom Riddle guy who got killed off last week still be in the flashbacks with the Vultures? AMC says of “Buried”:
Al's questioning uncovers some surprising truths about the group's past, while John Dorie receives unexpected news.
No Jian-Yang in tonight’s “Silicon Valley,” but things are moving quickly and this is a big episode for Laurie and Monica, the show’s own Electrawoman and Dynagirl. HBO says of “Initial Coin Offering”:
As the Pied Piper guys prepare to close on their Series B funding, Richard (Thomas Middleditch) receives unsettling news. Gilfoyle (Martin Starr) suggests a risky proposition and Monica (Amanda Crew) gets blunt with Richard. Dinesh (Kumail Nanjiani) goes to great lengths to compete with a coworker, while Jared (Zach Woods) keeps close watch on Richard's new assistant. In search of a better deal, Gavin (Matt Ross) tries to charm small-town America. Written by Clay Tarver; directed by Mike Judge.
The fabulous Katja Herbers (the main scientist from the final season of “The Leftovers”) joins the cast of “Westworld” tonight. The episode introduces a Delos Destination that is not Roman World, Medieval World, Roman World or Shogun World. Fans of The White Stripes should love the opening. HBO says of “Virtù e Fortuna”:
There is beauty in who we are. Shouldn't we, too, try to survive?
“No, he likes me.” “Oz” vet Terry Kinney, who played Axelrod’s creepiest henchman in the “Billions” pilot and 15 more episodes spread across 2016 and 2017, makes his first 2018 appearance on the series. Tonight’s episode feels like the season, if not the series, finale – but it’s not! Showtime says of “Not You, Mr. Dake”:
Axe and Chuck face mounting evidence of their involvement in the Ice Juice sabotage. Taylor questions Wendy's authority and motivations at Axe Capital. Connerty makes his case in court but comes up against unexpected witness testimony.

Now under the supervision of longtime “Walking Dead” showrunner and newly minted franchise uberfuhrer Scott Gimple, “Fear The Walking Dead” continues to do better than its Gimple-free prior season, which was overseen by departed showrunner Dave Erickson.

While “Westworld” fell to the level of “NCIS Los Angeles,” a robot-centric “Silicon Valley” perversely hit its season high.
“Madam Secretary” has been renewed for next season, despite the 0.6s in the 18-49 demo.
