Evening, geeks.
There always seems to be something for me to catch up on, I haven’t seen MAN OF STEEL, but I know what happens because I’ve seen JUSTICE LEAGUE. What I also know is that many fans were not terribly thrilled about either film. DC has become a bit of a butt of the jokes, lately. The only thing they really have going for them right now (without complaint) is their animation!
TEEN TITANS GO!, DC GIRLS, all the recent animated movies(except SUICIDE SQUAD: HELL TO PAY looks like ass, oh and uhm...KILLING JOKE, we don’t talk about that), and their JUSTICE LEAGUE ACTION shorts seem to do be doing well. Oh yeah, and BATMAN NINJA was a thing. I’m still not sure how I feel about that. You’re making it really hard for me to talk you up, DC.
Anywho, let’s take a look at the trailer for THE DEATH OF SUPERMAN, shall we?
So I’m really digging the new art style that DC has picked up for their animated features in the past few years. Feels crisp and aesthetically pleasing. I’m happy that after so long they finally moved on from Bruce Timm’s art style. This “new” one is great!
THE DEATH OF SUPERMAN is going straight to Blu-ray, DVD, and Digital Summer 2018!
