With a teaser trailer today for a KICKSTARTER project by Jessie Buttafuoco. Yep, the daughter of both Mary Jo and Joey Buttafuoco.
I honestly thought this story was over with. I’m also not convinced there is a story to tell as Jessie would like. I mean this story was ravaged from every angle as I graduated from high school. There wasn’t a station around not covering Amy Fisher and her obsession with Joey.
For those that somehow don’t know the story it goes like this. Joey cheated on his wife with a local high schooler (Amy Fisher) then via her obsession with him she shows up one morning at his house and shoots Mary Jo, his wife, in the face. Amy's caught and then the real story comes out of infidelity. Up til the real story crystalized the story didn’t make sense and caused a bit of panic.
Again, I don’t want to be a jerk here, but what more is there to this story? And what more is she going to tell with only $15,000.00? I promise I’m not hating, I just feel if she really wanted to sell this thing she should have given something worth a damn in this teaser. A teaser if you will. This doesn’t leave me wanting to donate to anything, it does however make me feel bad for her in general. I get wanting answers on how your family was torn apart and I could be totally wrong but this one seems pretty open and shut to me.
