Hallelujah, She is Risen!
Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg’s PREACHER will return to AMC later this month for a ndw season of sin and shenanigans. Check out the trailer below:
Based on the popular Vertigo comic series by Garth Ennis and Steve Dillon, the third season will see Dominic Cooper’s Jesse Custer return to the southern colonial where he was raised, Angelville, and contend with his grandmother and her “lawmen”. Though the series has already ventured from the chronology of the source material, the preview shows some familiar characters from the books making their way to the screen. Jesus DeSade, Allfather D’Aronique, Jody, T.C., and Madame L’Angelle all appear, as well as series regulars Tulip, Cassidy, The Saint of Killers, and Arseface.
It’ll be interesting to see where the showrunners take the timeline in this new season, after having Jesse meet and ultimately work alongside the nefarious Herr Starr in the prior season. How will he retrieve the power of The Word? And what will become of his tumultuous relationship with Tulip and Cassidy?
Let’s hope to have our questions answered when PREACHER returns June 24th on AMC.
