Tonight’s penultimate and flashback-happy installment of “Westworld” is pretty wobbly, but at least Sela Ward joins the “Westworld” cast as a key missing component: William’s lushy late wife, daughter of Delos, mother of Emily.

There is no Ruth Wilson in tonight’s perfectly watchable season premiere of “The Affair,” and just the teensiest bit of Joshua Jackson. Virtually the entire episode focuses on the Dominic West and Maura Tierney characters (in that order), who have both relocated to Los Angeles. Emily Browning, who is also Laura Moon on “American Gods,” has joined the cast as a hot neighbor. If there’s an affair going on, I’m not certain I noticed it.
