Below some cool "Mortal Engines" fan art
Hola Dannie aqui,
Peter Jackson's latest production "MORTAL ENGINES" that is being directed by Christian Rivers has released a behind the scenes look at the film. Rivers who has a long history of working in the art department for Jackson on films such as the three Hobbit films, the three Lord of the Rings flicks, "King Kong," "The Frighteners," "Heavenly Creatures," and "Dead Alive" is sure to bring us something visually astounding.
"Mortal Engines" stars Hera Hilmar ("An Ordinary Man," "Life in a Fish Bowl," and "Anna Karenina"), Hugo Wallace Weaving (V from "V for Vendetta," the three "Matrix" films, the three Lord of the Rings flicks, and "Hacksaw Ridge"), Frankie Adams ("The Expanse," "Wentworth Prison" and "One Thousand Ropes"), and Stephen Lang ("Manhunter," "Tombstone," "Gods and Generals" where he played Stonewall Jackson and the box office booming "Avatar")
Well, folks, I am eager to get my peepers on this one! Peter Jackson has never let me down so if he believes Christian Rivers is ready to take the helm as director of such a massively intensely visual and emotional project I have faith it will be worth the price of admission. From what we get glimpses of in the above video it looks spectacular, I am keeping my fingers crossed in hopes that the story as well as characters are well rounded and handled with respect to the source material. In this day and age of massive use of CGI one worries, I hope this film is more than just a visual roller coaster ride. "MORTAL ENGINES" invades American theaters and communities on December 14th of this year. I can not wait to see this film, how do all of you out there in Geeklandia feel?
Stay Strong, Live Good, Love Movies!
