SPIDER-MAN: INTO THE SPIDER-VERSE, starring a Miles Morales incarnation of Spider-Man now has Nicolas Cage confirmed as the voice for Peter Parker (in Spider-Man Noir form) in the upcoming film, according to Discussing Film. INTO THE SPIDER-VERSE is to be released on Christmas later this year!
In Cage’s more recent voice acting history, he played the role of Superman in TEEN TITANS GO! TO THE MOVIES that’s coming out later in July. He has also been in THE CROODS, ASTROBOY, and ANT BULLY.
Although Spider-Man Noir has not been shown in any trailers for SPIDER-MAN: INTO THE SPIDER-VERSE, there has been a recent leak of upcoming Funko POP! vinyl figures, which has people thinking that we will be seeing much more of Spider-Man lore than we have in a long time.
