Nothing like a little animu to get your day started! Older folks: that wasn’t a typo. GKIDS acquired the rights to MIRAI, a touching film that came out in Japan only last month! The U.S. trailer isn’t out just yet, there hasn’t been a official U.S. theatrical date release announced just yet, but it is planned. My sources tell me that we may see it in the U.S. in November, though! Enjoy the AUSTRALIAN trailer, slotted for a release August 23rd.

Some weeb trivia: The little sister’s name is Mirai, which actually means “future” in Japanese. The Japanese title is MIRAI NO MIRAI-CHAN, meaning “Mirai of the Future”.
