Freddy Beans here with the official Comic-Con trailer for THE WALKING DEAD season 9.
Despite my best impulses I am hopeful on season 9 after viewing that. Maybe I just like “Take What’s Mine” by Future Royalty and the sounds amp me up, I don’t know. There is a nagging déjà vu feeling like I’ve been here before though. Hoping THE WALKING DEAD is going to really blow my mind again and I get 2 episodes that do, at best. This looks good though, I like the internal conflict. It’s about time Daryl and Rick got into it. Two men enter, one man leaves!
It’s nice to see normalcy return to the land if only to see a non-greaser Rick, he was really oily at the end of season 8! I know people will hate me but I loved Carl dying off. I want to see Carol go just as badly. Morgan ran off to another show to avoid my wrath. I guess in the end I want to also see Neegan being a contributing member of society like he is in the comics. That’s a good arc, if hard to pull off. Coolest revelation out of Comic Con I heard was that Dan Fogler was going to be joining the cast this next season! Now if he's only driving the FANBOYS van Bucephelus!

THE WALKING DEAD starts season 9 on October 7th. It’s a ritual for me and my boys so we will be watching, in between Rick and Morty cartoons.
