THE MAN WHO KILLED DON QUIXOTE's New Posters Are A Surreal Delight!

Mad Dashiell here and thanks for joining me yet again for the... I've lost count installment of news on THE MAN WHO KILLED DON QUIXOTE.

Let us take in these Dalinian delights Mr. Gilliam hath bestowed upon us and bask in its surreal glory! BEHOLD!

-And now for the more weapy part of this article, oh my readers.

Terry Gilliam is no stranger to disasters and facing technical difficulties when filmmaking. Well, we open now upon the chapter of one of the weirdest tales of filmmaking disasters to be spun. After decades, Terry Gilliam towed the line following one disaster after another for the making of The Man Who Killed Don Quixote, a surreal take all his own I should add. He did it, it actually happened, but here's where the huge 'but' comes in.

Partners Mariela Busuievsky and Gerardo Herrero are two producers that have helped champion Gilliam's cause fighting valiantly. But, in the end, um, well Gilliam lost the rights to it yet again, again. Yes, the Paris Court of Appeal finally ruled in favor of the film’s earlier producer, Paulo Brancho, who claimed Gilliam did not finalize or end the contact legitimately. So, the dirty laundry was aired out in court repeatedly and in the end, it was not in Gilliam's favor. According to Branco and his production company Alfama, the rights were not held by his crew and so the film was made 'illegally'.

- Quote from Screen Daily, Branco said:
"The film belongs in its entirety to [the production company Alfama Films]. The film was made illegally. It’s the first time I’ve ever seen so many people embark on a mission to produce and exploit a film, without holding the rights. It’s a unique case."

-THE MAN WHO KILLED DON QUIXOTE
Jonathan Pryce(BRAZIL) channels Don Quixote and Adam Driver(STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS) is the incarnation of Sancho Panza, a man that goes simply by the name Toby. Olga Kurylenko(OBLIVION), Stellan Skarsgård(THE AVENGERS), Joana Ribeiro(DANCIN' DAYS), Óscar Jaenada(THE LOSERS), Jason Watkins (TABOO), Sergi López(PAN'S LABYRINTH) and Jordi Mollà(RIDDICK)are also weaved into this tale of chivalry, high adventure, of mythical, and magical proportions.
