Freddy Beans here with the first teaser trailer for TRUE DETECTIVE Season 3
This looks awesome!
The season storyline is hush-hush, what we do know will be set in the Ozarks and follow a child abduction case being investigated by Wayne Hays (Mahershala Ali…A.K.A. – Cottonmouth)
This feels icky, much like season 1, which was outstanding. Season 3, like Season 1 before it, also follows a storyline told through different time periods with subtle hints of supernatural thrown in to keep us off balance. Just thinking about Season 1 has me thinking about when to eat that season up again. Season 2, however, left me desiring so much more. I never got into the 2nd season and was thinking about ignoring the series from my memory banks until this trailer came along. Now here I am ready for Season 3. I’m sure committed to my positions!
Nic Pizzolatto wrote season 3, with the exception of episode 4 where David Milch (DEADWOOD) is credited with co-writing.
Is anyone else growing their excitement for Season 3 of TRUE DETECTIVE? Or did Season 2 ruin it for you?
I know I’ll be glued to my couch come January 2019 when the new season debuts on HBO myself!
