The horror series is created by R. Lee Fleming Jr. ("The Lying Game"), who's also known as the writer of teen fare such as SHE'S ALL THAT and GET OVER IT. It stars Haley Ramm ("The Originals"), Ajiona Alexus ("13 Reasons Why"), Peyton List (DIARY OF A WIMPY KID), Brianne Tju ("Scream: the TV series"), Harley Graham (CHASING MAVERICKS), Liana Liberato (MEASURE OF A MAN), and Jordan Rodrigues (LADY BIRD), as high school kids who play the levitating "light as a feather, thin as a board" mind-over-matter game, only to discover they've connected with something unsavory and demonic in the process.
It's interesting to see coaxial services like Hulu starting to provide horror not as one-shots, but as full series, which can be a bit of an investment risk. "Light as a Feather" has nine episodes in its first season, which gives it the advantage of drawing an audience into character and story fully... if they can launch properly with the pilot.
"Light as a Feather" premieres on Hulu October 12, 2018.
