Freddy Beans here with the mind-blowing trailer for FANTASTIC BEASTS: THE CRIMES OF GRINDELWALD.
That trailer is loaded with everything including the kitchen sink.
There’s a seahorse looking water serpent, a shapeshifter, dragons, blue flame, some weird groot looking weed creature, a ridiculously cartoony looking Cheshire cat wannabe, moving statues, a pitch-black stallion Pegasus led chariot, and that’s what I noticed from one viewing. They were throwing cool imagery hard and fast at us. The trailer and the music here is exquisite!
The second installment of the FANTASTIC BEASTS series seems to center on the old “join me or die recruitment” strategy. Gellert Grindelwald (Johnny Depp doing his best Kiefer Sutherland from LOST BOYS) is here to take over the world and our old hero Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) will have to figure out how to save the day with an assortment of friends. Albus Dumbledore (Jude Law) even makes an appearance.
FANTASTIC BEASTS: THE CRIMES OF GRINDELWALD is of course written by the amazing J. K. Rowling. This will be the 2nd in what will be 5 installments in this series directed by David Yates.
Still over a month left as this one comes to theaters November 16th.
