DUNCANVILLE, Amy Poehler’s Paper Kite Productions newest endeavor is scheduled to hit Fox soon. The series is also produced by 20th Century Fox and Universal Television, co-creators and executive producers Mike Scully, Julie Scully, and Amy Poehler, and Dave Becky of 3 Arts Entertainment. The animated family comedy is written by Mike and Julie Scully (writers and producers of The Simpsons) and features the voice talents of Amy Poehler (Parks and Recreation, Inside Out), Rashida Jones (Parks and Recreation) , and Wiz Khalifa (American Dad!).
The synopsis centers on the life of Duncan, an average boy, navigating through adolescence with the help of his friends and family. As of now, Poehler is set to voice Duncan and his mother Annie. It is unknown at this time as to which characters Rashida and Wiz will portray. Not much hype on this series yet, but pretty much anything Amy Poehler is involved in I will at least give a chance. It’s scheduled to broadcast during the 2019-2020 season.
