Today casting news broke on the "Godzilla vs. Kong!" Actor Lance Reddick has been cast alongside Demián Bichir ("The Hateful Eight," "Machete Kills," and "The Nun"), Alexander Skarsgård ("True Blood" and "Hold the Dark"), Kyle Chandler ("Argo" and "Super 8"), Millie Bobby Brown ("Stranger Things"), Julian Dennison ("Hunt for the Wilder People" and "Deadpool 2"), Rebecca Hall ("The Prestige" and "The Town"), Jessica Henwick ("Game of Thrones" and "Luke Cage"), Brian Tyree Henry ("Atlanta" and "This Is Us"), Eiza González ("Baby Driver" and the upcoming "Alita: Battle Angel"), and Shun Oguri ("Lupin The Third" and "Gintama"). Many know Lance Reddick for his work on "John Wick 1 & 2," "Great Expectations," and televisions "OZ," "American Horror Story," and "Bosch." Reddick also played a minor uncredited role in 1998's "Godzilla." I am very much hoping that director Adam Wingard ("You're Next," "The Guest," 2016's "Blair Witch," and "Death Note") and writer Terry Rossio (1992's "Aladdin," "Shrek," and "Small Soldiers") get this right.
"Godzilla vs. Kong" is planned to hit theaters worldwide on May 22, 2020. I hope it is good.
