Hola Dannie aqui,
Entertainment One UK released a trailer for the much talked about "WILD ROSE" a film that stars Jessie Buckley ("BEAST," "Taboo," and "The Tempest") alongside Julie Walters ("Billy Elliot," "Mama Mia!," "Mack the Knife," and the "Harry Potter" films), and Craig Parkinson ("Four Lions," "Misfits," and "Control").
Entertainment One UK describes the "WILD ROSE" as-
"Rose-Lynn Harlan, played by BAFTA Rising Star nominee Jessie Buckley (Beast), is bursting with raw talent, charisma and cheek. Fresh out of jail and with two young kids, all she wants is to get out of Glasgow and make it as a country singer in Nashville. Her mum Marion (Julie Walters) has had a bellyful of Rose-Lynn’s Nashville nonsense. Forced to take responsibility, Rose-Lynn gets a cleaning job, only to find an unlikely champion in the middle-class lady of the house (Sophie Okonedo). Directed by Tom Harper, Wild Rose is an uplifting story with an original soundtrack about family, dreams, and reality, and three chords and the truth."
Here is the trailer for "WILD ROSE" enjoy.
"WILD ROSE" hits cinemas in Ireland and the U.K. on April 12th, and then breaks ground in theaters in the grand ole U.S. of A. on May 10th. I'm from Texas so, there's country music I love with all my soul, but then there is what I consider 'pop' country, and I can't stand most of it. However, the music in this trailer was actually pretty darn good. We shall have to wait and see, from what I hear Jessica Buckley gives a knockout performance. So I am in. How do all you honky tonk lovin' cowboys and cowgirls feel about the trailer, is it a yay, or a nay?
