On 6/18 ArcLight Cinema and IFC Films are hosting a screening of Dave Franco’s THE RENTAL at the historic Vineland Drive-In movie theater. THE RENTAL marks Franco’s directorial debut and stars Alison Brie (GLOW), Dan Stevens (THE GUEST), Shiela Vand (A GIRL WALKS HOME ALONE AT NIGHT), and Jeremy Allen White (“Shameless”). Franco will be at the exclusive early screening and will be on hand to answers questions following the film.
In THE RENTAL, “two couples on an oceanside getaway grow suspicious that the host of their seemingly perfect rental house may be spying on them. Before long, what should have been a celebratory weekend trip turns into something far more sinister, as well-kept secrets are exposed and the four old friends come to see each other in a whole new light. Alison Brie, Dan Stevens, Jeremy Allen White, and Sheila Vand star in this unnerving and sophisticated debut thriller from Dave Franco (NEIGHBORS, IF BEALE STREET COULD TALK, THE DISASTER ARTIST).“
The $55 ticket includes entry for one car (no passenger limit), complimentary ArcLight Caramel Popcorn, as well as regular popcorn. Theater goers are encouraged to bring additional snacks of their choice and to observe physical distancing at all times including leaving vacant spaces between cars. Tickets can be purchased here.
So if you live in the L.A. area and you’re missing all the pre-Covid 19 special screenings, you can check out THE RENTAL at this unique event ahead of its 7/24 release.
