What's up, everyone? Sam here to bring you the trailer for the new film BOOKSMART.
BOOKSMART is about two high-school seniors Amy and Molly who realize they have been so preoccupied with the books they haven't had any fun. So when do they decide to have fun? On the eve of their high school graduation! Because that is only logical...right?

BOOKSMART was directed by Olivia Wilde and written by Sussana Fogel, Emily Halpern, Susana Haskins, and Katie Silberman. The actor line-up included Kaitlyn Dever, Beanie Feldstein, Billie Lourde, Skyler Gisondo, Jason Sudeikis and Lisa Kudrow. The film genre is comedic, and the film duration is about 103 minutes long.
Now I don't know about you, but the trailer had me sold after the peaceful meditation practice ended with the words, "Fuck those loosers. Fuck them in their stupid fucking faces." Because in that instance I had one thought....
If they wanted to grasp my attention in the best way, it was a win. American film culture has had a fantastic history of dynamic duos in teenage cult classics. Some of my personal favorites have been: Ferris & Cameron of Ferris Beuller's Day Off (1985), Gary & Wyatt of Weird Science (1986), Bill & Ted of Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure (1989) and Cher & Dionne of Clueless (1995).
I have a feeling that Amy & Molly are going to make their mark on this generation of millennials and will be appreciated for many years that have yet to come.
BOOKSMART is expected to hit theaters May 24, 2019.
