The Orchard Movies released a whirlwind of a trailer for "SAVAGE YOUTH" a film written and directed by Michael Curtis Johnson. This will be Michael Curtis Johnson's second feature film to write and direct the first being 2016's "Hunky Dory" he has six short films under his belt which are "Grifter," "As Seen on TV," "Izzat," "The Guitar," "Diary of a Teenage Vampire," and "Flotsam." "SAVAGE YOUTH" is based on actual events that occurred in the community that writer/director Michael Curtis Johnson grew up in. Everything I have heard about this film after it premiered a Slamdance 2018 has been very passionate, and they say the film is visually just as intense as the horrific story and characters it is based on.
